Making a Greenland Paddle

I’ve just come across a fantastic set of posts by Adam Bolonsky (based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA) detailing a method of creating a Greenland paddle using a Jig and a Router.

I’ve often thought about giving a Greenland paddle a go and the thought of paddling with a Greenland paddle you have lovingly created really appeals. May have to dust off the woodworking tools!

You may be interested to know that Greenland paddles are now hand-crafted in the UK and available to purchase from http://www.seakayaker.co.uk.

The Anglesey Stick is proving to be a great success and sells at a price that is competitive with standard paddles. Take a look at our website and contact us for more details!
