What Is Solent Sea Kayaking?
Solent Sea kayaking is a website containing information on sea kayaking in the Solent area and beyond. It also provides reviews of sea kayaking equipment, books and DVD’s.

I run the website for the sheer fun of being involved with the Sea Kayaking community with occasional help from one or two friends, and always welcome feedback from visitors.

What Solent Sea kayaking Is Not!
Solent Sea Kayaking is not a Company, Sea Kayaking Centre or Shop. We do not sell equipment or run courses but will always happily point you in the right direction if you need help finding a course or a shop.

You Sell Books Though?
Correct, I have affiliate accounts with Amazon and Pesda Press so if you click one of our links and buy a book I get a small percentage which amounts to a few pence per sale. I make a very small amount per month which almost (but never quite) covers my hosting costs! I would consider adverts on the site to help cover these costs and help get hold of review equipment and maybe run some competitions in the future.

So, Can We Advertise On Your Site?
Yes, if you fulfill some criteria. I would only except adverts from people or products I trust and would be happy to recommend. I currently get over 2,000 visitors a month and the number is growing steadily. My stats show that visitors tend to stick around once on the site and view several pages. If this is of interest, then drop me an email.

I currently have one advert on the site – for Bournemouth Canoes. This is my way of thanking them for the advice and assistance they have provided with my own, personal kit purchases and also information/advice on some of the equipment I have reviewed on the site. I trust their knowledge and judgement and would happily recommend them as a canoe/kayak store.
