Jim Krawiecki is already well known to many paddlers as the co-author of Welsh Sea Kayaking and the author of Northern England & IOM: Fifty Great Sea Kayak Voyages, both published by Pesda Press. There is also a really enjoyable podcast with Jim on Simon Willis’s Sea Kayak Podcasts website.

Recently, Jim has been releasing video shorts of his paddling exploits and they are superb. Jim has struck a great balance between good quality footage and keeping the videos natural and ‘un-produced’.

Lymington RNLI Search & Rescue Video

Kamchat Kayaking

I picked up on these via the UKRSGB and Canoe & Kayak Magazine. A series of short videos featuring Russian Sea Kayak Club Kamchat Kayaking. Some interesting videography and amazing scenery/wildlife. The Kamchat Kayaking website has an ‘english’ translation button on the top right of the homepage which makes viewing the website a tad easier!

Worth a watch.

Video: Northwater Expedition Deck Bag

Lomo sell fantastic value Cags, Drysuits, Gloves and other Kayaking accessories via their Glasgow shop or mail order.

P&H Videos

P&H have added some interesting video content to their website. Presented by Doug Cooper of Glenmore Lodge one of the P&H Paddlers (and filmed by Simon Willis of Scottish Sea Kayak Trail as part of his new venture Sunart Media).

Two videos deal with Sea Kayak maintenance and safe loading of boats. The remainder look at some of the P&H range and take a close look at the new Corded Skeg System fitted to newer P&H Sea Kayaks.
